This is a difficult topic to write on as I am officially unemployed. I am a student at SNHU right now and am seeking employment as a technical writer. I count my blessings as I am on VA disability, which helps make things somewhat manageable; however, having employment is a wonderful thing. That being the case I want to write on a word of encouragement for those who are employed and maybe unhappy about some things in their job. Keep in mind that every job has problems and you pick the least bad problems for you in your carreer. I have worked in a lot of fields and although I had found a job with the kind of problems I preferred to suffer it hasn’t been practical to continue. This is why my next level down is becoming a writer; however, it doesn’t pay well until you get employment or pay money to get ads out for your books. If you dislike your job then remember the title of the 1978 series “the grass is always greener over the septic tank”. More money will mean more problems and you want to know what problems you will acquire before you leap. I have told others that not all promotions are monetary, and this is what I mean by that.
