Workout Wednesday: Any way that you like!

Daily writing prompt
What’s the most fun way to exercise?

The old adage could be easily I have heard many times over is I prefer the workout that you are doing than the best workout that you’re not! When I went to Owens Community College we had an entire class on physical activity, and it was all about just working movement and exercise into your everyday life.

On a regular basis I will be writing and when I need to consider what next thing to write I will pull out a dumbell and do 8-15 preacher curls, wide curls, tricep kickbacks, skullcrushers, and wide tricep extensions. It just gives me a basic hit every head of the bi’s and tri’s in a quick blood pumping exercise. I follow AthleanX for exercise tips, because he will actually draw to help you understand muscular shapes. I will do the same thing sometimes with delts, pecs, and upper back; however, I want to give y’all more detail on that in the future. Without weight I will do high knees, squats, and calf raises to help me not to pace as much. I used to pace around, but I found exercising to be more practical and beneficial to get through my own internal dialogue… as a writer you might imagine that there are many characters up there, but it makes life more interesting. That being the case it’s far more fun to get together with your buddies and workout in a gym or play some sports. I haven’t had a better cardio workout than playing basketball, and playing softball is just a great time. I just have to be careful, because I am more similar to Achilles than any other historical character I can think of.

For those who may not know having gone to school for exercise science and physical therapy I felt that I should start up a Workout Wednesday blog, but for now I will leave that to commentary responses. Please respond if you would like me to continue writing about working out on wednesday’s and if you found this helpful.
