Hello Readers,

My Tuesday Cruiseday portion of my blog seems to have very little traction so far just like FIAT! Yet, it does make me happy to write about car stuff even if my readers aren’t overly interested… so hopefully you will bear with me in my folly just a little bit. Fiat isn’t the best company owned by Stellantis, but in europe they are everywhere. Here in the United States they didn’t take off because instead of bringing their product in full form over to the US they relied on production of an italian product by Mexican’s and to be fair flat formed fiat isn’t the easiest vehicle in the world to work on. There is a legacy of artisan crafting specified for every part and this makes repairs and replacements where they are uncommon very expensive. It’s kind of on the level of buying a bicycle that is $100 less than a diamondback just to have it break out the bottom bracket in half the distance. Definitely not worth the money in America, but maybe they are in Europe… Ah, Europe where baked goods are even better, people talk to you on the street, and many things are legally mandated of manufacturers including limited amounts of sugar. Hopefully you don’t get sugar in your engine, but if you want it in your belly Milka chocolate is the way to go…

The first kind I ever had was the Triolade, but even though some people might prefer the balance of the chocolate solids to cocoa butter in Caille it’s still better chocolate than most Americans will have in their lifetime, and I challenge you to try it.
Back onto the subject at hand, why is Fiat the most hated car manufacturer in America? let’s discuss that.
Style… the fiat “style” is a far less classy Mini cooper. it looks from the side like someone had a mucus blob come out of their nose and hit the ground and they said, (imitating the Godfather) “Si Tony, that is how we will make-a our cars.” It’s like the terrible idea of the BMW Isetta someone took and ran with that to make all of their vehicles with the style or the urk man.

If this vehicle doesn’t urk you something is wrong… their big advertisement for the all electric fiat is electric with style… whose style?

If you don’t see the similarities then you don’t have any clue what American’s think of style.
What else is Fiat’s claim to fame? They are Italian… their real name is, “Fabbrica Italiana Automobili Torino”. This really just means Italian Automobile Factory of Torino if you can’t see it, but if you used that it would be I-AFT, and really that’s where you will be… behind everybody. If you thought Honda was bad about power then you’d be surprised how often fiats would get flattened if they drove in front of Semi drivers in America. Let’s just say that not every car matches the driver’s desire to move efficiently, and from that not every driving decision is best in a Fiat.
You really could say that if you could have Fun In Any Thing then you could get a Fiat; however, if you have any sense of style, quality, or self-respect than you probably won’t.
